Malaysia Super League Sdn Bhd (MSL) was formed to serve as the commercial arm of Malaysian football. The Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors is YB Khairy Jamaluddin. Also on the board of directors is FAM General Secretary, Dato’ Azzuddin Ahmad.
Meanwhile, the daily operation of this company is headed by its Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Kuhan Foo.
MSL's primary function is to raise sponsorship funds to further the interest of football in Malaysia. With a yearly season of over 1,000 scheduled matches, MSL has a solid platform for sponsors and advertisers to create brand awareness among the masses, particularly football lovers in the country.
MSL also acts as a marketing tool for the local football scene. Its aim is to create a great sense of pride and awareness of the sport, from the grassroots right up to the professional level.
